 Preparation 

Make the paper chatter box

Make some small cards with thses words  on them: jump, hop , skip , dance , quickly , slowly , lowdly , quietly

 Inclass

Write he words on the board , and check that children know them

Put the cards into two piles: verbs and adverbs. Take one card from each card, and ask children to do so: for example: jump quicly , or sing loudly

Ask s.o to take a card from each pile, they should not say what is on the card, but should act it

The class has to guess which word he/she has

Part two

5. show the class the paper chatterbos you have made and show them how it works

Tell the they are going to make one themselves.They should clear their desks and have colored pencils ready

6. Print out the below worksheet, tell them how to make chatterbox stage by stage using the instruction here

Wait until everybody has finished making it

Let them play with it
